The ghost dude got (relatively) clean hand back in chapter 43.
While in the photo of this chapter, even though they cheekily blocks his sickle, he seems like he got really bloody over there.
So either he's just finished reaping souls, or maybe he's an actual living murderer that just finished his "job".

yeah tbh same, because the panel purposefully shows how the ghost is near Miko's dad. it's possible.

Hadn’t thought about the guy literally being the Grim Reaper. Just assumed broski likes to hang out around school zones (in the pic, middle school, in the car accident scene, high school).

Another person made the comment that her dad died close to a year before the events of the story. I don't remember exactly the chapter of the manga, but in the episode 4 of the anime the father says "I'm sorry for eating it last year" when apologizing about eating Miko's pudding. On the photo Miko is just graduating from elementary school (she is currently in highschool) so the father must still have been alive when the picture was taken.

Oh man, out of every spirits we had seen so far, that man with the sickle really gave me the shivers. I guess it is because he just looked like any normal middle-aged guy. To be honest he actually gave me more of a creeps then the sister did.
