I swear if we find out twin stars actually thought that Yuu might hurt himself more by trying to be an actor than quiting now and only said those things to him because they wanted to save him the suffering... I would be actually ok with that. It would be somewhat cute. Even more so if they happened to like him still after the years and will now try to break him away from heroines thinking they might hurt Yuu by staying close to him

I mean, even if I agree that I want some character development for Yuu, deep-rooted trauma is something that will stick for decades, even when addressed.

Yuu's backstory is heartbreaking. He was trying to be an actor so he could be closer to his mother. Not only was he bullied but they questioned if he was her son. Just think about that. You love and look up to your mom so much that you want to be a part of her world but after trying and failing people start to question if you're her son.

This is what really pisses me off about this story. Yuu should be upset about the way other people treated him and his lack of relationship with his mother. Yet he just smiles and says it's my own fault and the other people face no consequences for their actions.

I bet it will be the same with these two as well.
