Wait, is he even getting paid for all the work he's been doing for them? I'm talking monetary paymenthe is absolutely not a freeloader lol he's a live-in maid + dietician + bride

But yea aside from the payment, he's a literal househusband for them
I sorta .... have to agree.Wait what the hell, I thought they were going to fight then and there. Aw fuck no, now I am gonna have to sit through the training arc, all for the twink to get beaten up and keep standing up because he will neva gibbu appu! And then the karate boy will say "I commend your willpower" or some bullshit. Please stop
I have to admit that I had the same thought and almost dropped the manga at this point.Wait what the hell, I thought they were going to fight then and there. I meanI have to admit that I had the same thought and almost dropped the manga at this point.
Having resumed it after a few weeks, however, I learnt I should have trusted the author more. (That's all I have to say without spoiling further chapters to the future readers.)
Not everything else.didn't it exactly happen as I said? The only difference was that he asked Karate boy to do a tag team at the last second. But disregarding that, everything else did go just like that.
Not everything else.
You expected (reasonably, because that's the usual trope) that the main character becomes beaten up and keeps standing up nevertheless because he will neva gibbu appu!
On the contrary, when he was beaten up, he cound not stand up and fight. The author avoided the pitfall of a superhuman feat caused by sheer willpower.
You expected (reasonably, because that's the usual trope) that the karateka is going to commend the main character's willpower. It happened, but (again contrary to the trope) not during the fight (and thus not affecting the fight's results) — later in the evening.
