I said vampire because in the chapter 7, the MC said that ghouls can evolve into vampires and the monster is blond like Eliza. But it could also be a different monster. I guess we will know soon.

The damage only transferred to cards people specifically use as a shield, like most non monster girls E and F Rank-cards.
No damage will be transferred to other cards.

Well the The Pied Piper of Hamelin clear was anomaly, so his fear of it happening again, and/or him getting PTSD, is a subjective thing. It's not completely unreasonable for him to be in the group of people who are able to move past it and go on.
