Sounds like you haven't read a lot of comedy harem then. Best example of what I was talking about is To-Love Ru. He chooses one, but the girls contest, or acknowledge one another, and it ends open.
Most harem that ends with a single woman was characterized that way. Like, "He has to choose one to marry." Or, "The childhood friend he promised to marry but doesn't remember her face." They are mainly based in drama. Difference here, and in To-Love Ru, is they are solely comedy.

@Vasqueztion How much I've read is 100% irrelevant. I am making prescriptive claims. Other authors fucking it up does not change prescriptions. Your one example (To-Love Ru) is notorious for having a shit ending because the author was going through a slump and decided to intentionally end on a bad note. And again, if the manga is solely comedy, why the fuck would you ever have a serious conclusion? Don't tell me "it happens." Everything can happen. Tell me why it happening doesn't just make the author shit.

Now we're diving into the realm of opinion, friend, and that's where we have to draw a line. Outside that, I already stated that most of those endings are done in drama. When they are done in comedy, it's to allow a small form of realism as most countries, namely Japan, don't jive with polygamy. Most of them usually end open anyways despite the choice of one. As the other girls typically, like I said before, contest the choice. Or it ends before the choice is made.
And, To-Love Ru was done open ended to allow for its continuations. Like a movie setting up sequels. Again, it being "a shit ending" is opinion.
Going back to this story, most of the girls are ok with the polygamy. Papi wouldnt get him choosing someone else. She's said before, in the beginning, she doesn't understand the idea of "husband" being someone else's. The only two with any sort of issue is Centorea and Miia. But reguardless, it'll end open regardless of his choice. That's the type of story and those are the type of girls. But, again, this is opinion.

every girls nipples are shown (yeah!) but why did they not, for realism purpose, add in the guys nipples =?
@Vasqueztion We're not diving into opinions now. I've said this from the very first comment you replied to. Prescriptions are necessarily opinions, but that obviously doesn't mean they can't be right or wrong. If someone says you should take cyanide when you have a cough, that is an opinion. Does that automatically make it valid? Fuck no. There's no metric by which it could be argued to be decent, because there will always be an inconsistency in whatever worldview agrees with it, and inconsistencies are as close as you'll get to objectively bad, which makes the opinion objectively bad. There is no greater sign of cowardice than reducing everything to subjectivity whenever you get asked to say something meaningful. I'm done replying.

Adored this chapter. I like when they get into just exploring more of the worldbuilding. This arc (focusing on the cultural exchange) and the Lamia Country arc were really good at showing the less human aspects of the world, or the ways the world has to accommodate monsters, and I love it.
