Okay, I hope Grimmer looked into the deposit first but given the chain of events, it doesn't seem he ever had the time to. I liked the move to show he had nothing to hide to gain the detective's trust but first things first!

Though, I can't say I'm very optimistic to see someone else put in the confidence. That's just asking to be killed in that manga.
