the mangaka just keeps on droning on and on about his imaginary world mechanics. over 60% of every chapter is just compulsively explaining how each abilities work or how the game world mechanics work, and all of it is done by the mc's monologuing.

I really hate when storytellers do that. just get to the meaty parts of the story. you don't have to explain and justify each and every little thing that happens, especially in a world that supposedly has magic. Just justify every mechanic that you pull out of your ass as "magic", like in Harry Potter or "ninjitsu" in Naruto, and your audience will fill in the details by themselves. Or at least make the world mechanics more like a discovery by the characters themselves, thus making it part of the story or something like in Bleach where Ichigo discovers the mechanics and thus the mechanics, however crazy they may be, gets through to the audiencs.

@Jzc136 I 100% agree, lets say you were working a job you enjoyed and working your way up the ranks, you finally got to the top after all the hard work and then the company went under, you have no job, your goals no longer exist and after working so hard for so long for nothing some people think that that all that time wasted for nothing so they best not waste anymore time. or something along those lines anyway.

yes, except that it's kinda stupid to suicide for this. Why he didn't just contact the game developers and asking to get his account back?
they can check the ip and purchase log to verify the user

Edit : Lol I just read chapeter 1 again and remember how stupid the dev is

@ac1d1c agreed. Or, like in "The Dragon, The Hero, and The Courier" or "Attack on Titan", the author puts the explanation on the last page of every chapters

@ac1d1c I can't agree. I think a story about fighting with skills and no actual measurable logic behind them is lazy. There's no tension without the characters literally saying they're about to lose, because the author can make them win for reasons that make no sense. What comes to mind is something from naruto where a team is fighting copies of themselves, and their answer to winning, after they're physically beat and in a lower condition than they started fighting, is to simply become stronger. Just right there in the blink of an eye.
or the "Power of Friendship" nonsense.

That doubly cannot work here where the entire story is based on this guy's journey to reach an actual goal that requires his knowledge of world mechanics and achieving smaller goals in order to make the larger goal possible.

This doesn't really make much sense. Artificial game world with artificial game limits. It isn' t that good, but maybe some people like that stuff.

Like, seriously, the game world he goes into plays like your standard RPG. He even gets item drops by killing random monsters in this "reality". wtf.

The art is nice, but the story sucks, I rate this 4/10, seems like the rating is inflated due to people liking the LN.

Can someone clear this for me - does the justice girl play a huge part in the story and if so does she change in anyway and prove her worth or is she just dead weight that keeps upholding her sense of justice until the end?

Ahhh. It's not "Bad." Hell. I would say it's skirting "good" isekai.

I like the MC. Down to earth, and very one to one. Funny too. The problem is, as the series progresses, his actions become very. Well. Specific. And not in relation to the world being a game, but personal relationships. If it was game knowledge, I can suspend my disbelief.

Also third party member arc is pretty terrible. I'm not a fan. It's super generic. Like OMEGA generic. I know it's a harem series but the amount of "convenient" the third party member is is just too much for me.
