Her motive doesnt really matter, the only thing that matters with her is, is she being controlled or magically manipulated. That mark on her forehead is concerning and looks like a typical curse mark, but its so blatantly visible that the public would see it and know, so would be odd if it was as she is a very public face. If she is mind controlled she can be saved, if not she gets to be executed with the kind and prince, her suggesting to go after a daughter to use as a hostage makes her every bit as evil as the other traitors. So unless she is only like that do to mind control she needs to be dealt with. From retreating to advancing. To think that delivering vegetables would turn the tide. Also, Aina's outburst is in perfect timing.
What's left is the Saintess' motives. It really looks like she just wants to have the noble status, I mean to even went as far as to bear the weak prince's child.
It's a holy symbol/mark. The same symbol is on the chest of the Holy Nation's Queen. The Saintess had the symbol before fighting the Demon lord. That mark on her forehead is concerning and looks like a typical curse mark
Regarding the mark/seal on her forehead, it has been there since the 1st chapter and it seems Noel knows that seal ever since they became a party after her becoming a saintess (they were childhood friends as well). She might really be after the life of being a princess/future queen regent; she might actually be sick of her life as a commoner back in their village. But we will soon find out.Her motive doesnt really matter, the only thing that matters with her is, is she being controlled or magically manipulated. and the saintess?Interesting how this differs from the WN (as is often the case. Don't know if it differs from the LN, though)
So, in the WN, as I've mentioned in previous chapter threads, Noel basically has to do next to nothing, and Gudal's fate is the most gruesome (although the most emotionally damaging one is the Saintess.)
His harem? Well, it's from throwing his weight around, to put it lightly. So, one night, a woman turns up at his mansion... And murks every single person in it, especially Gudal, who becomes a large spray of sticky red paint on the walls and floors.
It's one of his late ex-harem members, who got ruined (and was killed, iirc.) Who became a wraith. He has just enough time to realise this.
The smoke always gets there before the fire does, my friend.Imminent? Smells rather smoky and burnt for imminent.
pls saintess im sick of waitinInteresting how this differs from the WN (as is often the case. Don't know if it differs from the LN, though)

Fuck, you people complain the hero isn't doing anything and want him to kill everyone and you complain when he defends himself and kills people trying to kill himLel, he fucking killed them.
Nice "hero" doing there.
you can't just mention one part and not go more with itInteresting how this differs from the WN (as is often the case. Don't know if it differs from the LN, though)

Um no it very much does not, smoke comes from the fire, not reaches a location and it ignites. No amount of analogy changes that. I was also referring to the cinders that are the court mages. The smoke always gets there before the fire does, my friend.
Take, for example, the poacher who acts without regard to anyone, even himself. The fool left his campfire burning while he went out to poach game in the preserve. He thought it'd be fine since it was properly contained. But instead, it sparks a forest fire.
And by the time he smells the smoke, it's already too late - he's upwind of the fire and it will soon engulf him.
These fools (poacher) left the true hero for dead (camp fire) and stole his glory (illegal game). And now the consequences of their hubris is about to come home to roost.
and the saintess?
He didn't kill assassins sent after him, yet he killed the soldiers.Fuck, you people complain the hero isn't doing anything and want him to kill everyone and you complain when he defends himself and kills people trying to kill him
While there is some blood in spots, they are all intact, so I'm not sure if we should be assuming they are dead. It does feel odd he would kill soldiers doing their job but not assassins. Soldiers fighting a coop while on the wrong side in this case, don't have a way to know that they are. They were just told to fight against a armed group that is trying to oust the "hero" and king. He really shouldn't kill them if he doesn't have to as they aren't the problem. Hell rather than attack him they tried to reason with him to get out of the way until told he was a enemy. If in this situation they are that disciplined and not just saying f it and using force that really indicates them being good guards normally. Now, my view of him improved.
I thought he will hesitate to kill fellow human, to think he really kill those soldier is not within my expectations.
uh yeah, it's war, he's not a little pussy jap isekai-jin forcing his earthly morals on everyone.Lel, he fucking killed them.
