Thank you for the chapter! Honestly gangster dude wasn't terrible. Straightforward and honest, invested in femboy, and asked someone he knew was a friend of his target for help convincing him and was willing to buy medicine for someone as payment for just asking nicely. Still not a great guy, but like not the worst. The misunderstanding of the child being part of a honey trap, definitely horrible though.

I appreciate how consistent this manga is in characterization of the different levels of society.
Those at the top(so far, Princess may be different) are irredeemable scum.
Those in the middle are generally normal but either unaware of Aix's circumstances or willfully ignorant of them. So far, they tend to react like mostly decent people when they do figure it out and start to treat him better.

What sells it for me is how believable the situation is. Shit like this happens all the time and most people ignore it until they are forced to acknowledge it.

tl;dr Just like RL, scum rises to the top.

I'm not even bothered by the honey trap, I mean nothing that we haven't seen with Epstein and many others but the pacing is horrible and the whole premise is just DUMB.
