Unlike the WN, here we already know from the start that Fitz is Sylphy so there's less surprise on the reveal.

Anyway, Sylphy recognizes Rudeus right away, but he didn't recognize her (white hair instead of green + officially Fit is male)

So she try to get close to him, with some failures at first, but slowly they get to friendship step again.
Ariel letting Sylphy do this because:
1. If it work, she'll get a powerful ally (who's shown earlier in school to be able to damage to immortal Badigadi)
2. It'll help out her friend
3. Amusement

Then at one point, Sylphy straight up revealed who she is to Rudeus, and they almost got to sex until he revealed his ED.
Sylphy went back to report to Ariel, at which point the other guardian (who's been on guard against Rudeus due to family issue i.e remember that Paul was a noble?) gave her a family secret medicine (aka viagra)
It worked, Rudeus is cured of ED and get his first legal waifu (who's actually the one who push him to accept the harem btw)

Btw Sylphy is Elinalise's granddaughter.
