@Richman
He @-ed you and then edited his comment to write the fake username.
I suspected that too, but I figured that couldn't be the case, as I didn't see any "last edited x minutes ago by sterven" on his post. Doesn't a message always show when a comment is edited?

Gonna need time to check these submissions. Oh, that song that lasts 17 minutes... who submitted that? Is that really one single song or 3-4 mashed together?

@sterven That dude Halo or Holo or whatever the fuck is dumbass name was, was constantly shitposting while mocking the opposing side, yet never even got a warning. Fairness and civility my ass.

@Tamerlane You currently have:
- Girono's Theme- JoJo's Bizzare Adventure
- City of Flowers-Samurai Warriors
- Halo 2 Mjolnir Mix
- Unfounded Revenge
- Wily's Castle II
Choose 4 of those.

@Afiaki I tagged you because you were part of the discussion. Was wondering if everyone was actually on the same page. XD
OK. Gotta say, though, that we have some new people joining after the first tournament ended, while some simply disappeared. Let's discuss, but I think we might get some new people who want a different theme.

Now, I shall judge your ideas:
- Save room/menu music: No. Not many games have a specific track for a menu or a save room. And save room is surely even rarer in non-horror games. Menu music? It's usually just whatever background music of the level you're on, or total silence. This won't be able to attract many players.
- Shop theme: See above.
- Town music: Not as bad, but still no. Towns are not areas that game developers put much effort into making music for. It's just an area where some events happen. And most of those events, like battle scenes, or cutscenes in general, have their own unique music. Someone dies? A fight about to happen? Definitely not gonna be using the town's music. It's just not a very interesting theme. The same goes for lobby/character creation theme.
- Cartridge music: So, basically retro-ish? It's like the first one we did, but even more limitations.
- Licensed songs in films and video games: Too limited.
- Chilled BGM in any media: So, relaxing music, in general. Not bad. Not exactly interesting to me, but I can accept this. That's if the others are also in favor of it.
- Sabaton music only-tournament: Absolutely no.
- Anime opening/ending music: Why do we need a separate tournament for opening and ending music? Why not just have them both together? I can understand separating different forms of media or genre, but why these two? I suggest we put opening and ending music together in a tournament. Now, will it be anime only? Or video games and movies included?
- And then we have our previous suggestion: emotional/melancholic anime music. Well, we can make it not anime-only.

Speaking of derailing the thread, here's a word from our sponsors:

Pad thai, or phad thai (/ˌpɑːd ˈtaɪ/ or /ˌpæd ˈtaɪ/; Thai: ผัดไทย, RTGS: phat thai, ISO: p̄hạdịthy, pronounced [pʰàt tʰāj], 'Thai stir fry'), is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as a street food and at most restaurants in Thailand as part of the country's cuisine. It is typically made with rice noodles, chicken, beef or tofu, peanuts, a scrambled egg, and bean sprouts, among other vegetables. The ingredients are sautéed together in a wok, which creates even heat distribution. Once the dish is completed it is tossed in pad thai sauce, which gives the dish its signature tangy salty flavor with a hint of sweetness.

Whales have been hunted for meat in Japan since before 800 AD. After World War II, due to damage to Japan's infrastructure, whale meat became an important source of proteins.

In modern-day Japan, two cuts of whale meat are usually created: the belly meat and the tail meat. In the early 19th century, 70 different cuts were known. People still call the belly and tail cuts by their special whale meat names, and also, different parts of the body such as the tongue retain their jargon names. The tail meat is not the same as the fluke (tail flipper), and they go by different names.

Like horse meat, for some cultures whale meat is taboo, or a food of last resort, e.g. in times of war, whereas in others it is a delicacy and a culinary centerpiece. Indigenous groups contend that whale meat represents their cultural survival. Whale meat can be prepared in various ways, including salt-curing, which means that consumption is not necessarily restricted to coastal communities.

@Mr_Detective

The fourth one was ELO's "Mr Blue Sky" because it was used at the start of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 when they were fighting the giant space monster

I'm confused. I thought you were asking me to fill in the 62/64, because I already posted the first three you listed plus my fourth one.

Was there a miscommunication somewhere?

- City of Flowers-Samurai Warriors
- Halo 2 Mjolnir Mix
- ELO's "Mr Blue Sky"
Do me a favor and edit your original post for me as well.

Yeah I know who your talking about but I didn't direct my criticism towards him but the power hungry"unbiased" mod because after all if I hadn't been banned i'd probably just kept on shitposting and while I didn't specifically state it I certainly implied that I believe the rioters are morons.

OP HATH SPOKETH \O/
Sabaton music only-tournament: Absolutely no.
Lmao @Tamerlane BTFO. (pretty sure he wasn't completely serious about that theme in the first place tho)
@Mr_Detective
Why do we need a separate tournament for opening and ending music? Why not just have them both together?
Widening the range of acceptable entries by basically double would make the theme too broad, and I think that a decent theme is neither too broad nor too niche.
I suggest we put opening and ending music together in a tournament. Now, will it be anime only? Or video games and movies included?
If you/others do choose to not separate openings and endings into two different themes, then video game and movies should not be included imo. Even if openings and endings are separated, vidya and kino should still not be included in the theme. I'm fine with openings and endings being one theme, but I strongly disapprove of adding video game music and movie music into a theme. Basically, the theme should be: Anime Openings (and possibly endings) only.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talktm

How about spooky music? Like when you first encounter The Flood in Halo: CE? (There's also one in Halo 3 that sounds like a car alarm, but i can't find it, lol)
