I just don't get why the author even bothered making this an isekai. MC completely disregards that fact he's in a new circumstance, and adapts beyond immediately with no concern or critique. Notably without the waking up cliche I'd might add. Meaning he just reincarnated standing up! Which the normal sleeping trope at least gives a weak transition point. Was the isekai just to give the possibly weakest self insert potential to the Shonen reader? Was it just not have to world build a setting, and piggyback off 90% of the medium? What is going through the MC's head?: Now X years older -> "yeah and". New healthy body/sudden death -> "lol". Has a daughter -> immediate acceptance. New culture and world -> "author will armor me through it". Sudden mental and physical ability to kill some beast -> "all good then".

I just do not get why.

How is it that these characters always immediately forgive a lifetime of abuse? There was a different series I read where the villainess literally tortured the male lead for years and then when she got possessed it took like 2 weeks for him to forgive her and become completely loyal. It doesn't look like she suffered the kind of abuse that would cause her to endlessly try to pursue her father's affection considering she later kills him.
