Yeah, I often hit on people by running away from them. Works 70% of the time, every time.

And someone saying his daugther is a bitch. She is still in high school which is still need her parent attention. Despite that her father never been there for her, even after her mother died.
They justified that his father need working to earn money. Sure without money you can't life, but that's not enough reason to abandoned your daughter. Yet he is still selfish that this is not his fault....

You can still be a bitch in her situation, especially when you take everything out on the parent you still actually have who's just trying to provide for you so you have a roof over your head and don't starve to death. Dude's gonna work himself to death for her and she won't even talk to him except to screech at him to leave her alone. She's actually pretty damn lucky she has a parent who works as hard as he does and still tries to make her home cooked meals every day, but she won't even touch them. She could be a lot worse off than she is, so it's understandable if some people think she's being a bitch or ungrateful. He might not be able to rush to her side 24/7 or whatever you're expecting him to do, but when he is there for her, she's the one keeping the door closed between them.

I feel like a majority of people siding with the dad don’t have kids or shouldn’t have kids. Children don’t just need finical support they emotional support as well.
The dads problem is he’s pushing his problems away and trying to act like work n making more money will fix all his problems.
Yes it’s great you making dinner for your daughter but oh i dont know how about trying to have dinner with your daughter. I’m guessing he was never around for his daughter that much growing up and he just assume he could take care of her by not changing anything he’s doing and working even harder. Just leaving his daughter alone and she will fix herself mentality.
He just assumes his daughter is doing good with school and doesn’t bother to routinely check or ask her how she’s doing.
His employees are mad that all their hard work went out the crapper and that he didn’t try and stand up for it. then he’s even more mad that he’s not trying to rely on them to help with the new changes that’s he’s just shouldering it all they feel useless like they made errors and are of no help to him.
The daughters friend is showing him kindness and praise witch he obviously craves.

I don't see why either the dad or the kid are in the wrong, like the father is trying his best to take care of her but the extra stress of losing a family member causes him to overexert so that how they live won't change. The daughter clearly has stress from the mom passing away. Life sucks, neither of them are in the wrong, they just need to be able to help each other.

I understand about the work, but the MC is just neglecting his daughter too much, yes he has to work, yes he does meals for her but that's not enough. A kid isn't a cat or dog that you just give food and a home and "that's it", even dogs and cats need attention and affection, and YOUR DAUGHTER needs far more than that even more then normal because she just lost her mother .

But what from I have seen until now... he doesn't know a thing about her situation, and just push things away because is more easy that way, until now of course because everything is going to come tumbling down on him like an 'Avalanche'

And of course the daughter shouldn't just shut herself in, she should ask for medical help (if she has deptession and for what I've seen she probably has) but that isn't that easy, well in her situation probably she isn't close with her father to open up so more problems added to the count ...
