The best part of reading this was the last page, it was masterfully done and really let me put myself in the narrative. That woman watching the plot jump out of an eight-story tower and hurdle to the ground with an exasperated look on her face? That's how I feel.

Smart bitch, realizing she pissed off MC she made it so it would be harder for him to kill him, I'm guessing she didn't plan for his wife death, maybe her kidnapping and her orders were ignored in the dumbest way, blackmailing MC with his wife would have worked.
I presume she didn't plan his wife murder and it was all the other guy decision, when she learned about it she must have rushed, the question is if she knew the price to pay, because if it was casual it changes things a bit.
MC should have told that woman why he was taking revenge, killing everyone present and then bringing away the leader would only confuse her, and as he was hiding his identity there is no way to connect his wife death unless the bastards left paper evidence.
MC now still have to hide himself, but probably will do so less than before, by appraising the magic on the leader he wil probably discover it can't be reversed and the memories are gone, hiding and living cheaply to protect her life wouldn't make sense unless he superimpose her daughter image.
The organization should have been damaged heavily, could make him harder to track, and will the remaining staff even try find him like they did before? They should think is related to his rampage.

And illusions in fantasy are always based around a strong will.
Here’s an infinitely more interesting premise: he’s kill her only to find out she’s innocent because the other lady is like “dude she literally has (insert x description showing her forthright character), she would never give that order”. He now has to cope with the fact he’s not an avenger, he’s just scum who killed an innocent child in blind rage. Also find it funny there’s generic healing magic that instantly heals yet his daughter died and his wife is paralyzed because plot demands it
