MC is written as observant and somewhat smart in every situation EXCEPT when it comes to yandere stalker. His IQ drops 50 points as soon as she appears for some reason (probably to make her look smarter) which takes me out of the story instantly. His inability to tell an outsider to fuck off is just nonsensical specially after what he witnessed concerning her gaslighting of the sister. Like he is getting blackmailed in order to put up with her or something.
