also, first time someone actually recognizes the mc:huh:
And still he said, it’s not the time to make a move just yet. Wtf could this dude possibly be planning against the strongest man in the world?

ugh, what a trash family. seriously scummy. they left behind a huge debt, then when they meet Karen again, they even try to sell her off as collateral. BIGGGG L for Karen’s parents, damn :haa: I’m pretty sure they’ll hold a grudge against MC and start causing trouble or spreading weird rumors later. and yeah, I’m kinda curious too, how did those debt collectors even know MC’s real identity?

thank you for translation
Funniest part is they probably could’ve lived the easy life basically forever if they’d just Gone to their daughter begging for help. Girl is gonna be rich soon if she keeps leveling up and some basic low level manipulation would get them a steady income from their daughter. Maybe even a place to stay.

I really rather dislike that he just threw money at the problem instead of asserting that Karen wasn't responsible for her parent's debts. I also really dislike that he didn't confirm anything about the payment so if they really wanted to (as they implied) they can just claim the debt still hadn't been paid as no papers were signed at the time of payment.
I think it was to establish a proper goodbye from her parents. Leaving them in their debt would have just made her feel guilty and like a bad daughter even if they tried to freaking sell her (trust me it’s hard to separate fully even when your parent is shitty). This way she can more easily put them behind her and not feel bad about it because she and her master already saved them once from an impossibly high level of debt.

To name a few: crippling mental problems, crippling existential crises, ennui, political stupidity, general stupidity, non-general stupidity, the common cold, love, human greed, corporate greed, sectarian strife.
There are some very effective therapies and drugs that can solve most of those problems.

What happened in the novel? :O
In the novel its karen herself the one that stand up again her parent and those debt colector. She asking for a loan from her master and also solidified a reason for staying with him much longer. And her master also using his name and influence to scare Karen parent off. But in the manga her master just trown those bunch of money all call it a day God what a way to cut the development character

Found it funny that 1 bystander dude who looked like he was about to jump in and steal the cash haha :lul:

Seriously tho from what I've seen from this series there's 2 types of people
retards and overly kind people :aquadrink:

I actually find it funny how there's YET to be anyone that just does not completely destroy the villain's
Infact they don't even have to attack them but like since they are so powerful can't they just emit killing intent to spook them? like how a wild animal does or something? I mean these dudes are basically the equivalent of Super Humans

UNLESS I'm forgetting but could this be another one of those the powers don't work outside of dungeons type bullshit??????? :nyoron:

Yay, a nice happy go lucky, warm and fuzzy story!! Oh wait, Japan wants to pull the rug from under your feet and make you angry and miserable and to loathe all of mankind for the scum they are. Because if they can't be happy, none of us can be happy!!!

Wasn't thinking him not having a license would cause anymore problems with how things were going, but I guess not being able to enter higher ranked dungeons makes sense. Will make hands on training against more difficult enemies more challenging.

Not sure who is in charge of the two mafia people, but I suspect the one who knows Zero is more of a bodyguard in high standing. Seems like the other own is egging to bite off more than they can chew, hoping to try something later.

I mean he can just kill them. Or you know get the government to take care of them since he’s a high value asset. Money isn’t an issue for him so of course he threw it around as a first resort.

What an odd priority for cutting down pages. Question for ya, did the novel also have the debt collectors show up immediately after the parents initiated the conversation? Like what's even the point of the stupid "come back home with us we love you" shtick when they instantly call in the criminal thugs in the same breath?

Also I find it insanely funny that some random debt collector dude was able to recognize Zero and not, you know, any of the people working at the Adventurer's Guild that led to Zero getting blacklisted. Granted he seemed to be the one in charge and the other debt collector guy had no idea, so maybe this guy is some sorta hotshot but it still looks silly regardless.

So the mafia members got their money, know that the girl is being protected by an incredibly strong adventurer... but are still planing on taking her? Why even wait for the parents to sell her off, just kidnap her straight away if they don't care at all. :questionblob:
