This is 100% NTR. The romance between Shishido and Rindou cuckolds Sohei, the boyfriend character (who seems to be an insecure, possessive creep).

Well this due to how almost all mangas fallow the same basic plot premise and the Yuri/BL one is that you have the proactive Seme who seeks to conquer/couple up with the sweet/innocent Uke and so they usually cut out much of the slow falling about romance you get in actual romance.

The other reasons are more ‘visceral’ for example the reading are looking for titillation so it important to get to the sex early. Yuri/BL manga tend to be short run comics because once you’ve reached your happily ever after moment that little more ground you can cover but most importantly that’s what the audience actually likes, if you’ve ever watched lesbian porn of lesbians you would notice a good third to half of it is just kissing and stoking each other and probably no scissoring involved because that’s very energy intensive for little impact. But it’s the sort of thing men like to watch so pretty much every yuri manga will involve scissoring.

Saying 50 chapters is a bit rich, the average is around 7 to 15 chapters. In fact for a Yuri/Yaoi story to get over 50 chapters the Yuri/Yaoi needs to take a backseat to something else. For example off the top of my head, Yuri is my Job is a drama manga and yuru yuri is a CGDCT manga.
