Hallo hallo, back again with more news.
Our three cache image servers have now been replaced by our affiliate Path Network's new European servers. Because all of our image servers are covered by Path's own cache servers, the server choices for North America and Europe have been combined as choosing which cache server will be done automatically based on your location. Our webserver is still covered by Cloudflare, but even that may change someday. This change will allow us to save another $75 per month to use on any further infrastructure upgrades we need.
The reader has had a feature to warn the user when there is a content gap between the chapter they've selected and the previous chapter. Previously, this warning did not trigger if the chapter was opened directly, but the reader has now been updated to do so. This means that if a group happens to upload a chapter much further than the previous scanlation group, it will help avoid accidentally spoiling the chapter for the user who may not remember where they are in the series. Note that this requires the reader settings option called "Warn about chapter gaps" to be enabled, so you might want to check if it is, though it should be on by default.
And last but not least, an update for our supporters. You can now add notes to users and the notes will appear under the user's name. Can't remember who someone is? Did someone do something memorable? Feel free to add it to a user note so you never forget. You can add notes to a user by going to their profile page and clicking the Notes button. You can also access a list of all of your notes in your supporter menu settings. We'll be adding support to edit them from there in the near future.
Thank you for supporting the site, we couldn't have lasted this long without you ❤
P.S: We're still working on getting mouse pads. The first design we'll make available will be the Totoro one, and once we're confident in our new provider we'll order the rest.
Holo edit: We're still growing nicely - approaching 9 million visitors a month. We still get DDoSed once a week, but our infrastructure is now able to absorb this without compromising on site access.
