I knew the scar meant it was Ao, just didnt want to go through all the ch. to find the proof.

The ship belongs to a korean human trafficking syndicate that worked together with Butama in the past. The koreans are separate from Butama's yakuza group. They're trying to do w/e Butama wants in order for him to regain his memories since he alone has information of a "client list" they need. How "Peter/Ao" got on board no one knows at this point.

Oh dear, I think we are about to get a "Corrupted Evil Ao" arc, and that he mentally may not be the Ao that Nezumi knew and fell in love with.

Ao likely took peter’s place after their meeting in the hospital room - which is to say, peter probably suggested the swap because he wanted nezumi to be happy. The speeches in the dark were all peter, unless we’ve seen one happen since that scene that wan’t a flashback.

Hey Guy Since all the crazy stuff has been ongoing since around chapter 79 Ive been re-reading the manga for some clues. Here are some things Id love to get thoughts or interpretations on:
1. Chapter 69- The Doctor comes in when Ao accidentally meets Peter and tells them to go in and calls someone "Pants-Kun" wtf? not a mistranslation. Also how does the Doctor seem to know Ao as well? Does this have to do with his ability to take pain, stay calm and learn killing so quickly and flawlessly?
2. Peter at one point also says he just wants Nezumi to be happy no matter what, it doesnt make sense for him to kill Ao? Why is the scene set up so elaborately regarding the head being cut off?
3. Looks like Tengu might be related/associated or have history with the hobos from korea. Just by similar art style and assasin background.
4. When Peter comes up stairs, who sent Nezumi still as a child to kill the Korean harvesters? Doesnt this mean the Yakuza already have knowledge on the Koreans and what they do? Did they save Peter? as he defnitely needed medical treatment. who saved him?
5. The beginning chapter show how its too obvious and convenient for Ao to be so head over heels over Nezumi and chase her down. I know his sister was killed by her, but whats the story behind the scar on his neck? was he playing the long game for revenge on Nezumi? I feel he may pop-up at some point.

These are my burning thoughts, please share perspective and views or any of your own cool clues! thanks guys! Loving this manga..so many layers and details to catch on re-reads..the Messiah arc was *chef's kiss

Hey Guys I posted this back in Chapter 82, so amazing that we're getting some new developements!
1. Awesome that @Litreara brought up the back scar identifying Ao, but did you guys see the neck scar too? take a look you can see it right under his hairline! Its the one they show in the earlier chapters, I forgot which one.
2. I noticed in Chapter 78 when they show the video of "Ao " getting his head taken off, there is a seen where the Korean glasses guy is carrying Peter down the stairs in the black tent, he says " Long time no see Peter, You've grown up." I think this is because they swapped out and Ao is now in the tent and he's much bigger than Peter. Might be a bit of a reach.
3.My theory is the call back in Chapter 69, the Dr. made a plan to switch them out if certain things happened.
4. I also noticed that when you look closely at Ao's burnt skin in this there are patches where his skin looks healthy and normal? is he wearing some form of fake skin? lol take a look, I dont remember Peter having those so hopefully he's not fully burnt. Which means I think Peter's head was taken off.
5. That weird Chapter 70 with the strange nurse who looks like goth bird keeps making me feel like there was some sort of clue in this chapter. Looking for stuff with incense, so if you guys see that let me know

Man if we can figure out the Dr's plan and the relationship of Ao and Peter and how they're all related before its revealed. lol
