Amazing that Eunyung's roommates have the gall to try to guilt-trip him like that when it was he who took Kyungsoo to the hospital and almost missed his chance from that. As if showing up to comfort him two hours later will be an unforgivable crime.

I'm glad that for once Eunyung tried to do something in pursuit of his own happiness. And I get the feeling I was right last chapter, he seems to be taking this very seriously. Fight on, Eunyung!

AHHHHHH I'm so glad he didn't skip out on performing in the play. Yeah sure his roomates gave him a place to stay, but they don't actually care about him, unlike Baldie and his friends. His roommates are so shitty, deal with it yourself? Kyungsoo is a nice guy and wouldn't have asked Eunyung to ditch something this important for him anyways.
I wonder if him choosing the role of the horse is a metaphor for something? I Need to know what Haejoon was seeing, and what connection he made

I mean, I agree with you that the roommates are bad. There's not much question about that.

However, Kyungsoo was not the reason he "almost missed his chance from that". Remember that he had multiple, multiple days to apply. The teacher kept telling him over and over again. Eunyung said it himself. He delayed in going.

There's also the fact that Kyungsoo seemed like a generally okay and nice person. Obviously a pushover when it comes to his cultist parents, but...come on. I'm not going to blame him for being a pushover to his cultist parents. I don't blame Kyungsoo for getting sick or anything else that we've seen. He clearly does need help from others too, but he's not a main character. He's not one of the chosen six of this story, so readers don't have to care about him.

---

Ultimately, I'm left feeling like this wasn't a "good" choice of Eunyung. It also wasn't a "bad" choice either. It was, however, Eunyung's choice, and that's really all I can say on the issue.

Indeed, you have a point on that. Still, the fact that Eunyung did help him when none of the other roommates were around remains, so they are the last people who have the right to call him out on that, so my main point stands.

I actually sympathise with Kyungsoo, and I don't really think that Eunyung's street friends are bad. In fact, we've seen many instances of their really caring for him, even calling Haejoon over to help out multiple times. At least a couple of them, of course many of the others are not very reliable.

I think that Eunyung made the right call. It's one thing to leave what you're doing to help someone else when you're the only one to shoulder the consequences, but here he'd have caused harm to other people, people who put a lot of trust in him. And in contrast with the time when he took him to the hospital, here all the help he could give would be moral support and comforting. Which, like I said, he can give a couple hours later, it's not like he's gonna be abducted by his parents in the middle of the night.

My eyes are burning. I'm so happy he finally chose himself. For a person who thinks so little of himself it was such a huge step. Thank goodness.

I agree so much with u because if the one that needed help was Haejoon instead of Kyungsoo, most readers would want Euyung to go and help him out, but since it was Kyungsoo that needed help, the readers don't care much about Kyungsoo like Euyung, so after all, I think this was a hard decision for Euyung

eunyung did say he loved how on the stage, "eunyung baek" disappeared. it's a silly role, but honestly, maybe being dressed up to such an extreme degree that he was almost unrecognizable - and the fact it was a somewhat goofy role in the first place - helped ease him into it in a way...
