Okay, let's try something. The problem is that you i don't remember everything i've read, so i'm boing it from memory and it may not be wise choices. ALso, it's hard to know how popular is a serie (the number of follower is surprising sometimes).

For the wholesome stuff :

• Everything made by Inui Ayu ;
• Chatting at the Amber Teahouse, and everything made by Fujieda Miyabi (for old stuff)
• Sayonara my rose Garden, but i think it's not completly obscure stuff ;
• The two mangas Sirius and Alter Ego made by Ana Sanchez ;

For the subtext stuff, i propose three oneshots in the same universe, full of zombies :

• Stitch You Together;
• Ojou-sama Is Dead ;
• Lunch Time, Traumerei

For the funny light-hearted 4-koma stuff :

• Swap-Swap ;
• Namekama won't take a licking (i think this one was very popular at a time, so not sure if it's what you want) ;
• Who Decided That Blues Had to Be Cool!? is quite funny, but subtext only.

For the toxic yuri stuff, i only have one serie :

• TANKOBU, with two related oneshots, by Kuwabara Tamotsu the same behind the manga "Destroy It All And Love Me In Hell!".

For the porn stuff, because i must, everything done by Takeshisu.

I've made more than one list for others (like this one and this other), but definitely not Citrus (good try there, that's even more known than Sasakoi). Hachi7 normally does series that are not much popular and lean on the comedy/slice of life side and Knight Heron also does works that are not extremely popular, from them it could be this wholesome family, Because You Dazzled Me, Futari Escape, several one-shots (check the group feed, some works are only on Dynasty), Pocha Climb!, etc. In the first link I mentioned a lot of anthologies that you can find typing the key words, normally they are less read compared to series. I am more or less choosing among the less popular but solid recommendations from MangaDex, Itou Hachi has works that became more popular and others that besides when they were uploaded received few visits for instance, Amazaki Suika has been active for a while but it's not much popular. The group Danke fürs lesen in the past did quite a handful of funny yuri one-shots like Strictly Professional Yuri and even /u/scanlations, Noca Scans, Yuri-ism, Yuri Project, Yuri Ichigo and Aoi Ichigo groups have lesser known series, for instance this one from Mira which is the NSFW old version of the actual Yuri S&M. Some one-shots I have bookmarked are Always Yuri in Moderation, We Graduated from being Sisters to Girlfriends, Shouting at the top..., Prism, Yuri Terrorism, Yuri Otaku Family, etc. As you can see, even nowadays popular authors have lesser known works, my recommendation is checking your favourite authors works and you'll discover a ton without long researches.

is it actually good? i only read first 2 chapters many years ago cuz i though it was gonna be one of those edgy and philosophycal manga that would (not) be focused on (the) yuri romance, i most likely was wrong so i will retry to read it

I start good and last for 2/3 tomes, but quickly loose its steam. But the following, Citrus+, is not worth reading.

Citrus was simply a popular title among English Publishers when there were few titles to read, it has no deep content. It's just your standard gyaru x exemplar girl pairing, something to read when you have nothing else better to do actually. And well, I think it's simply the kind of series you wanted to avoid because everyone knows about it but more like "yes, I read it in the past. That's it".
