That was a bit disappointing. I hoped he'd at least make up with his mother and sister and go back home before it ends

Saw this manga from a manga recap channel, decided to read further, and really related to the main characters. As someone who's never even moved on from trust issues, their story makes me feel really absorbed, and i want to be able to trust someone the way they trust each other too, someday.

No matter how rushed this manga feels, it's the perfect tempo for me, everything about this manga, from the start to end, is simply perfection. Thank you for the translations, and i'll move on with my life with a smile, like they did.🙏

I like the ending but still there's somethings missing...
Like just the mc interacting to them doesn't mean the issue is already been settled.
Like the author is in hurry, ik that the author is a vtuber but she/he couldn't just create more chapter but not in hurry just in free time to make the story more sense.
(Sorry bad English)
But still I appreciate for the art and storyline on this manga👍

Ending was kind of rushed, i was expecting for some closure on the parents side, but a sweet ending nevertheless.
Thanks for translating this short but sweet manga!

Soooo, I'm just gonna start rambling my thoughts out, so sorry if things get a bit disjointed.

What a rather disappointing story.

The premise was interesting at first, but the cast and execution felt just entirely subpar. Characters felt very shallow and surface level, while the protagonist gave me the impression of being essentially a mouthpiece by the author. Even the halfway point that essentially served as a protracted epilogue/third act didn't really so much develop the characters, but instead just emphasized how cliched and constructed by tropes they seemed to be. For a genre like drama and romance, where the complicated interweaving narrative is hoisted up entirely by the strength of its cast, this just serves as a massive failure point for me.

I saw someone put it as a wish-fulfillment story somewhere in the comments here, and yeah, more than being a barely passing drama this manga felt exactly like that. "What if I was a gloomy boy in this manga, what do I say to the people who tormented me?" It's that kind of scenario come to life, down to the beat-by-beat melodramatic reaction to the verbal dress down.

I have to say, if you wanted to read a story, that, while having a different premise, still serves to hit the same emotional beats - I'd recommend something like A Silent Voice, instead.
