This feels like such extreme nonsense. Yes, they don't have the religious puritanity that Catholic Christianity prefers, but you're not gonna tell me that Japanese dont like titties as much as the next human being. Nudity, no matter the setting, is used for titilation.
And due to different cultural norms, the Japanese in general don't view titillation as necessarily bad or reserved for adults only. Teenagers get horny and are interested in sex. Japan accepts that, while the west often pretends puberty happens all at once on your 18th birthday.

I'm not sure why you're bringing up Catholics. It's the evangelicals that usually get their panties in a twist over a nip slip. The Catholic-majority western countries I'm familiar with (mostly Spain and France) tend to take a more laid-back approach about that sort of thing.
This manga author might not be allowed to put nipples on the girls breasts, but that's just due to censorship, not because they "don't view nudity the same like decadent western people".
I don't understand what point you're trying to make here. In the west we don't put nipples in magazines aimed at teenagers because that's culturally unacceptable (and often illegal). In Japan, they sometimes do. It's up to the magazine.

But it's not like they're a monolithic culture. They've got prudes, too. Some magazines choose to censor the nipples to keep the complaints from those prudes at bay, but by and large the general public doesn't have a problem with a teenager reading a mange with nipples in it.

Crazy that this ends in like 5 chapters. It feels like it really could've gone on longer than 42 chapters. But hey, better to leave me wanting more rather than the chance of slowly hating something I once loved.

Fun, sweet story, and the ending is solid for the this type of manga. 8/10. Thanks to the translators and uploaders.

We got like 3 easily embarrassed male characters (dumb too) coupled with 3 shameless females (light work no reaction), dunno about that man

Some guy said real life has a lot of loose ends like this, it also doesn't have witches, or maybe it does, 'The Witch' 2015 was pretty scary
3/10 cause gave up reading :wowee:
ending was lame (did anything get wrapped up?, like fr, just a bunch of smiling)
random tension plot points ("I'm gonna kill him" what? who are you)
people conveniently where they gotta be
no emotion (no anger, sadness, either no blush or blush)
art was decent
overall wasn't overly offensive (flip roles, spycam witches, gross)

oh, also def woman author (pretty evident with the lesbian, shameless females, dumb males, jealousy, no female friendship breaking drama (peak fiction), overly confident females (more than any male), "sex empowers" females)
Note 1: Could be the "opposite sex as friends" concept, women authors love to write it, gonna try and not be sexist here, but obviously it's not common cause guys will usually try and become more than friends, because they're used as an emotional outlet for venting and gossiping, without getting the comfort or intimacy a relationship would have (not hugs, as that'd be more than friends, even if women hug each other, so arguably treated less than a friend), not gonna pull out the lesbian vs gay divorce stats but I'm just saying, it can be tiring for guys to be friends with women.

makes me wonder if the lack of emotion is a projection of the author not wanting to write vulnerable characters (as that'd paint women in bad light, as that's majority of cast), which is pointlessly avoiding a whole dynamic, was it Fujimoto that talked about writing stories is about pulling out parts of yourself and making fun of it? he's real for that

ch32 peak shamelessness, she acts like going to different places is across the world, no sense, she really didn't even try, just "let's not", my experience, seen before, guys that age drop girls quicker (unless he's got family trauma), so the roles should be reversed if it were realistic
Also reversing roles, it's like very morally corrupt to take advantage of a shy nerd then tell them to forget when they ask about it, like tf is that, I'm assuming later it's showing they both move on (weird), be real, no one moves on from their first time, if you try and harbour that move on mentality you're never going to be happy being intimate with your partner (why it's weird), also gonna get stds, I don't even know what to think of her waving in the end, I really really got no idea, it's so weird, never in real life would one night stand partners wave like that, like they spotted their best bud (Note 1), she's written like a guy, if she were a guy I couldn't imagine any respect to follow, it's so.. gross. Definitely had sex with no kissing. Probably written as a "sex is empowering" character, hope I don't gotta explain how sex being your self-worth is a bad mindset. Such a gross character.

ALSO she says to forget about all of that then says to think of it as a summer memory, PEAK WRITING

Mostly wrote to vent, more I think about the story, more I'm disappointed, I'm thinking it's because it went on for so long with many promising opportunities to explain or expand itself, but never did (the relationships go nowhere (no, sex is not a goal, intimacy is, you can buy one but not the other), there's no backstories explaining personalities everyone just "is", and I don't think anyone ever grew or learnt anything? which is insane, in what is arguably supposed to be the time in your life when it happens the most), there's no reason behind a lot of things, so you're sometimes left to assume, usually the worst, as it's usually shameless behaviour, which makes it gross and extremely dettached from reality.

If you want an example, Power from CSM being a fiend explains her personality, her relying on Denji and Aki is a good showing of her relationship (as she grew to like them, and them to her), there's hints she's scared of Makima, and her dumpster scene is a perfect showing of her realistic but inhumane mindset turning into a very intimate moment when she doubts herself, it's amazing, doubting can be such an amazing dynamic

Wrote too much, but made me realise it's not 3/10, going 1/10
