Odoru Respawn - Vol. 1 Ch. 8 - Chained to the Other Side of the Mirror

Has everyone noticed that this is totally a school for misfits?
It's aptly named Cannabis High; there's stickers, graffiti, and inappropriate posters everywhere; cracked windows have just been repaired with tape...
On page 9, there's a (maybe dead, maybe prop) chicken taped to the wall, a (possibly dead, possibly prop) snake coiled over the light, a throwing star lying on a desk.
On page 10, the teacher is reading a guide book for "teaching primates" - obviously having decided that his students lack a human level of comprehension.
If you look at the previous chapter: the school appears to be located in the "Hotel" district, the Christmas lights were never taken down, the facilities are in a state of disrepair. The staff obviously don't bother to clean/repair what they know the students will just immediately mess up again.
And among the misfits, the main characters are so far gone that they can't even fit in here. One hint is that while everyone wears the uniform sloppily, they don't even try.
The characters are (probably intentionally) drawn sloppily, but a lot of work went into the backgrounds.
