Shiet, I clicked reply before finishing.
First things first: thanks for the translation.
So, yeah, really good chapter. The parallels between Ako seduction act and Tsumiki, and, more importantly, the differences in Yutaka's reactions are
great!
Tsumiki pausing herself because she started to feel jealous when she was talking about Yutaka and Ako getting closer is subtle but nice. And the fact that she kinda self destruct with the finger thing was pretty fun.
I was wondering when we would get a "something that is perverted to genji" moment with poor Yutaka.
Really, a cool chapter, and one who push more and more dear Tsumiki on the path of realisation. I mean, between the soft jealousy, the "I don't get why when he's touching me I feel weird", the self destruction finger and the "Werewolf greeting blush 2: electric boogaloo"...
Ako is your standard romcom FMC / harem member. She's got two main purposes here - one, to contrast with Tsumiki, who is NOT a typical romcom FMC / harem member. And two, Tsumiki won't make any progress without Ako making her jealous - we've seen that already. Okay, and she stretches things out like the other side characters with their occasional chapters (like Invisible Boy x Hebizono). But poor Ako was a losing heroine the instant she showed up, so just treat her as comedy relief and plot device (and she's cute) rather than existential threat to the main romance. You certainly never would have seen succubus Tsumiki if Ako didn't exist. And the next two chapters are all Tsumiki x Yutaka!
Pretty good analysis IMO.
But, as I said before, I think the fact that Ako started as a "losing heroïne" is mitigated by the fact that she really seems more in love with the idea of getting in love that with Yutaka himself.
I think it's waaaay better than with chatarcter like
Manbagi who were really interested in the other character.
Plus, there is the fact that, as this chapter confirm, Yutaka doesn't see her AT ALL as a romantic partner. Let's hope this will not change, or this dynamic will became way more sad and frustrating.
