I feel bad for her (in that the stalker would've arrived even without the whole murder plot) but on the other hand, she's the reason she's in this situation and the universe (well, author) decided she should suffer max punishment for it.

This was always a extremely tense drama with a step daughter infatuated with her step father, but a sociopathic bully with an abusive mother and rapey stalker just ups the ante.

I don't think she deserves the fate implied at the end since it's clear it's her mother who forced her with pressure and neglect to be who she is; perhaps a mental institution would've been more fitting.

I'm curious as to how the author follows up with that storyline conclusion.
