It's a bit hard to see what's going on in a few of those action panels where there's mostly just whooshing things (which is a common problem in manga), but other than that by far the most straightforward chapter part so far.

Come to think of it, why is this dragon attacking them so ferociously in the first place?

Like...it seems at least somewhat intelligent. Why not retreat at any point the humans started showing that they were a threat?
