Aside from the fascinating and completely off-base amateur psychiatry attempts in this thread, it should be noted the actual speed of a cockroach is somewhere around 5.4 kph. It's only when compared by mass to a typical human - that a human would have to move 330 kph to be as fast as the insect (relatively speaking).
