Honestly, having an excuse like that makes it very easy to ask someone out on a date. And that's aside from their relationship.
"Yikes... Acting all seductive now?"
WTF, bitch?
He's... giving me mixed signals. But mostly that kind of awkward dad who doesn't know how to care about his daughter. He gave her the change, and he emphasized that this is what she wanted herself, and not something she's obligated to do because of their family.
If they're dedicated guard dogs, you generally shouldn't pet them. On the other, if she's part of the family, it's okay. Dogs do understand being on duty and being off.
The biggest wall people face when they're up against dogs (or most animals, really) is that they don't want to hurt them. If a person actually sets out to stop a dog, no holds barred, they're both stronger and more agile than the dog. Well, depending a little on the individual.
There's nothing that says a cat person doesn't like dogs. Most people like both when it comes down to it.
