This is the thing that ends the Kuro-bowl for good and anyone that laments that Kuro and Taki didn't end up together should rethink things.

while you can chalk it up to naivety or inexperience, Taki intentionally or not led Kuro on, if she had been aiming for Naga from the start she should have gone into that Karaoke room with him instead of having a date ( and what else could you call it) with Kuro.
She brought up that stuff about the prince charming with him too, what the hell was he supposed to think I legit believe that if Kuro had asked Taki to be a thing she would have said yes but Naga beat him to it in churn school, it always struck me that she was a nice girl that went with the flow and couldnt get a reading of things.

Compare her to best girl Sugawa and it's day and night, she was/is very proactive throughout the story and is a woman of action even if it's shitty stuff ( arranging a beat up) to some noble stuff ( pushing Kuro to help Kita come to the reunion) and finally coming to get him for Xmas.

It's clear that Sugawa much like Kuro is repentant and ashamed of who she was and what she did. it's also clear that she pays things back wether it's offenses (beating someone up) or favors (waiting outside with a hot drink to repay some math advice) and she has clearly taken a shine to him if she avoids smoking in front of him and becomes uncharacteristically hesitant when dealing with him, besides unlike Taki she knows she is baiting Kuro and she wants him to take the bite, when it's clear that he is not going to she has to stalk him to his workplace and wait till he closes so that she can make him make his move.

It was amazing what the author did with the character work and I'd eat a spin off of Kuro and Sugawa like ice cream, they deserve each other for all the best reasons
