Idk if it's intended but fun fact: The elemental spirits Alice calls out to have the same names as the elemental Mana Spirits from the Secret of Mana Series.

Did the giant killer just kill the one who called it up, the friend they've been searching this whole time?

Well at least it killed the duo who sold off the kid
Oh is that who it was, at first I thought it might have been MC's old ex-sister for a moment.

This chapter was kinda stretched to the max, we basically repeated the same scene set 3 times. Boo to that.

Oh hey, I recognise the spiral tower in the notes page, it's an art installation in the Hakone open-air museum. You can only see the colors of the glass when you're inside, the outside looks plain but has a bunch of other sculptures hanging on it, it's pretty cool

the spirits she summons pretty much get used in every manga fantasy setting.

Now, we should have a "mecha" tag. Frankly, the premise of the series is something really captivating, and different and that's what made me interested in following it on The CW, but for some time now i've been finding the flow of events and dialogues a bit "disjointed" and too expository (like the villain, the good guys and the people on the street openly say what they are thinking, important information and their real intentions [when it is not clear on their faces, making distorted faces]). Tnks for the tl~ :shamihuh:

This chapter was fantastic! A glimpse of the dark world this isekai is set in, great action, and two opposing viewpoints that fight against each other.

Wendy's life must have been horrible. She's a bioweapon created and discarded, she wasn't even killed. She was just sealed. The first person to get close to her was a toxic influence, and now she's taking her anger out on the very thing she's designed to kill.

Alice has undergone so much prejudice herself, but because of Hinako, she knows's better than to pity herself and harm others. Even if she was created to kill, she won't. She will protect others!

I'd like it if you mentioned all the spirits Alice called. It adds more flavor to the story.

I found the dialog to drag on for too long and far too many dialog boxes could have been cut down. I fucking hate how many times the wendigo laughs at everything (I only know of one laughter SFX and seeing her spam that shit gets really annoying because of my hate for repetition. Especially page 36.) Too much of it didn't amount to that much as well, literally every monologue during a fight or before one felt removable. Like with chapter three mage boi. Man talked for so long only to get one tapped. Fucking hell. This chapter's for Alice was more tolerable cause character development but wendigo just talks way too much to force a fight of black and white imo.
