Context for readers because manga skip some information:

• Bash doesn't money because orc tribe doesn't have money system. They're treated base on fame, so if Bash want, he can have anything in his country.
• Orc tribe's ranking is very simple. King, General and Vice General, other are treated as equal ranking. Even if Bash is Orc Hero and admired by many, that title is not an official ranking.

Difference in culture sure cause lots of misunderstanding, huh?

In some ways, he probably is but the lack of modern communication tools and a big war makes it easy for people to not know about big named warriors from the opposite side of the war if you don’t directly face them. It’s not like it’s normal to go around sharing names or pictures in war so even if he was such a menace, it’s not like the average grunt would know their name or what he looks like.
