A lot of people talking about this got axed, guys, a lot of these mangas are meant to last for short periods as they're only made to advertise the LN or the Anime adaptation, of course there are exceptions with mangas that adapt the whole thing, but this is the norm.

FMC's sister drugged and attempted to rape MC out of jealousy but FMC "caught them" in the act mid way. She promptly took her sisters side, didn't believe and shit on the MC for a good while until sister confessed under pressure. That's where most of his initial resentment suppose to be stems from. This info however dropped in the very last part of the novel and after that it just ends with something like "and lets be careful about your sister next time". THE END

On the one hand, we knew they were going to get back together.

On the other, the journey is (usually) more interesting than the destination and that journey was cut woefully short (yes, yes, this is an adaptation blah di blah di blah, there's certainly worse out there).
