As i said, LN vol 9 just released a few days ago, the story is not over.
Seihanda must have read a wrong spoiler about vol 7 events, it was not really appreciated in japan and amazon.jp (little spoil : some harem crap happen).
This vol was scandalous for a lot of fans, and some ppl on reddit thought it was the end because of the Japanese reactions, thanks god it's not.

The story continue after that, and the real ending should be good. Normally. Maybe. I hope.

both the girls he tried to help hook up with his friend they actually do eventually come to like him just like he wanted but obviously it's to late now however they don't actually confess their love to him until volume 4 (by the way the current chapters out cover all of volume 1, volume 2 should start chapter 13

I just the manga, and now after reading 12 chapters i really can not go further fearing that another girl will take panji's place. I'm hoping that in the very end of the series, he ends up with panji. She is the culmination of best girl.
