I can understand wanting to make up with Sun since MC at least understood his reasoning and didn't really dislike him all that much over the whole thing. The girls however are irredeemably ungrateful little shits who should be kicked to the curb.

Here we go again with the bullshit tropes and stupid characters.
That mom is a dumbass, a pain in the butt and a bad parent...
First, she didn't seem to realise that her son was profusely bullied in school. That, I can more or less understand if he's a good actor.
But then, she forces a girl on her son when he clearly doesn't want to be there, makes two hormonally challenged adolescents go alone in his private room, reveals his porn stash to the girl, repeatedly barges inside her son's room without knocking, sees the girl taking her shirt off herself, then proceeds to hit her son, and even seems content that the girl hit him too.
This woman shouldn't have a kid. That's the kind of mother that sees her son dead with a rope around his neck in his room, and then cries to everybody "I don't understand why he did it. I was so happy before. What a selfish asshole".
Damn, all the fucking characters in this manga are shit. I'll check one last time in chapter 14, but if this crap doesn't turn into a horror manga where we can see them all die, I'm dropping this.

@aFFi huh... how can you discern what type of parent his mom is just by one chapter? So far she's acting like a regular mom, in japan parents usually think about who their child would marry and of their future. She did not force the girl onto her son they clearly stated that she invite the girl as her friend over to watch a DVD and in the process found out that her son knew her.
She allowed them to go to their room to hang out as "friends" with no intentions of fooling around and only after her son asked a few times. Regular parent's would punish their child for allowing indecent behavior under their roof as he is underage.
You're idea of what a good parent should be is vastly skewered.
As for the characters in the manga, they all have realistic traits(except for FMC - She's on the edge of being a sexual deviant but kids in love that age are weird). If that's a turn off for you I don't think you understand how the common folk think. Most teenagers are shallow and selfish.

That's called forcing I think. Why does she need her son present to watch a DVD with the girl SHE invited...
Page 26: Just before letting them alone in his room, that look on her face doesn't seem like the innocent "Oh, he will just show her his manga collection"
Same with page 32. She then proceeds to reveal his porn stash, I wonder what two pubescent teenagers might think about if they start watching porn mags alone in a room with a bed...
Page 37: The guy is clearly 2 to 3 meters away from a girl taking her shirt of, but his mom starts blaming him, asking what HE did to the girl...
Page 38: They both beat up the poor guy who actually did nothing wrong, and she then proceeds to confort the actual perpetrator, and leave her ALONE in her sons room.
Now, you're right that we can't completely judge her capacity to be a good mom with just one chapter, but seeing how quick she was to resort to violence, I don't think that's the first time she hit him in the face...

Or the fact that keeping secret that your best friend already likes another girl, which he told you in confidence, merits being bullied by two "close" girl friends.
Or that your "best friend", in a rare moment of being a decent human, reveals he's actually the asshole to everyone... but he gets only more popular and you continue to be ignored by everyone...
I still think those are shitty individuals. If you deem them as common folk, you should maybe change the people you hangout with.

In a way I can understand why he would want to make up with everyone since everyone had their motives. Joro wanted both Himawari and Cosmos but would settled for either or depending on who Sun-chan choose. Sun-chan wanted Panji who is in love with Joro. Since Sun-chan was (and possibly still is) Joro's best friend, he figured getting Panji to date Sun-chan is the best but because that didn't happen and Sun-chan has a grudged on Joro because of Panji that Sun-chan did what he did and set Joro up for failure.
Yes, Sun-chan knew that Himawari and Cosmos was in love with him and knew the reason why Joro said no to helping him win over Panji, which he then used against Joro. Joro understands full well why he did it. He also understand full well why Himawari and Cosmos is mad with him since he's not a saint either. After everything came to light it's no wonder why Himawari and Cosmos felt bad and went around trying to clear his name and because Sun-chan didn't want to loose to Joro that he went in front of the whole class and made himself seem like the bad guy (even though it cleared Joro's name, everyone still likes Sun-chan because of his school/class status).
Basically it all came down to this:
Joro pretended to be friendly with Himawari and Cosmos so he can get into their pants.
Himwari and Cosmos never had any romantic feelings for Joro and just wanted to be with his best friend, Sun-chan.
Joro would settled for either one depending on which Sun-chan would choose (since he figured Sun-chan would be happy with either one so he'll just take the left over).
Panji is in love with Joro which Sun-chan figured out and is angry about it since he feel in love with her and thought it was unfair (it was like what happen in middle school all over again).
Sun-chan grudged because of that and decided to find some opening to make Joro the bad guy (btw, Sun-chan knew of Joro's other face but didn't know how to expose it thus did what he did. Refer to chapter 10)
Even though Joro wants to get into Himawari and Cosmos pants, he still value their friendship enough to even agreed to help them win Sun-chan's heart even though it ended in a big failure because of Sun-chan playing both the girls and Joro (Joro wasn't even playing them, he did gave the girls solid advances and was up to them to execute it, Sun-chan know this and exploited it).
So, again, everyone was after something, and I can still understand why he would rather make up than to not talk to them ever again.
As for the mother, I'd like to think that any parent would embarrassed their child at any moment they can one way or another. Hell, I'm 32 years old and my dad still embarrasses me every chance he get (although now it's me being embarrassed of my dad making a fool out of himself).
As for this whole "mother forcing the girl onto her son" argument. It is only polite to help give a welcome to a guest, not doing so is considered rude in Japan iirc. Because Panji was a guest invited by Joro's mother is there by extension a guest of Joro as well and should help in some extent, rather that's by a greeting and/or helping get snacks or whatever. He didn't need to stick around to watch the video, just help with the initial welcoming of the guest.
And Joro more likely thought it'd be best to just take Panji up to his room to avoid any more embarrassment from his mother not knowing that his mother truly did invited her over to watch a DVD (he thought that Panji figured out who his mother was and invited herself which was not the case at all, not in a long shot).
Also, the possibility of the mother revealing his porn stash could be so Panji can see what he's into (even though she already has a very good clue what he's into) and/or to take his stash and throw it away. Basically the mother is hoping that it would just help them start dating and nothing more (also if you look at other manga/anime, a lot of the time when a female character enters a male character's room they're usually looking for the porn stash and when a male character enters a female character's room they're usually looking for their underwear, it's pretty standard in a lot of this type of series so I was expecting something like this to prop up).
And let's be host, why wouldn't his mother hit her own son? For all she knows, he's forcing Panji to take her clothes off. A parent has a lot of faith in their children to do the right thing so seeing this made his mother pissed and rightfully so.

Do you know why critique love Q. Tarantino? He make a very realistic characters. Neither char is 100% bad nor 100% good
Hans Landa is smart and cunning but he is cruel and unloyal. Django is fucking annoying as char but he is the MC in the story, ETC.
These character writing is so great since most movie chars were so polarize between good or bad
