@Kimzark the momentary discomfort she might feel is a necessary sacrifice if she wants to settle on down in earth, you have to understand that she is a foreign body and a result n her body makeup might be totally different to humans and she might not have the same antibodies or immunity against basic viruses on earth. Plus for all we know her magic could even be her harnessing radiation in a way that might be fatal to most humans but in her world its basically the same as breathing oxygen so its better to know and learn that now then to figure it out later when you realize you have been poisoned from her doing her magic. Last thing to mention is the whole idea of

is stupid because even if she did have an illness we couldn't know/detect its better to cover all bases.
In conclusion if she really was in trouble she knows fuckin magic so i doubt she would have that much trouble breaking out if she really needed to.

@Wnf the measures they're taking are too extreme for the situation. Yes she needed to be tested and such, but they're testing her 3 times a day. Bacteria aren't going to just appear out of no where, they already have all the data on any possible bacteria she has inside her that they're going to get. They also -increased- the quarantine protocol for no reason other than "They have a story in their world of there having been a plague." So does every country in the world here <.< The first couple of days were precautionary, after the meeting it's just turned into irrational fear. Keeping her quarantined makes sense until they can figure things out, but they are seriously over testing, and they're not monitoring her mental state at all. So no her 'sacrifice' is not necessary, it's caused by their incompetence.
