Talking about a nothingburger chapter
do you have that post on X (like a ss), I need to know who was that heroSo… I was looking at the official release site and noticed that the author puts a little summary at the beginning of the chapters… and something really pissed me off.
In it, the author says that Hanabi is “being forced to do a certain part-time job.” So being raped and sex trafficked is now a “part-time job”? I don’t know if the author is desensitized to this kind of stuff because of what she writes in Fukushuu o Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha wa, but I think she should call it what it is, especially since she decided to take this route with her story.
Here’s the summary and an MTL on it:
Also, since someone told the author on X that she destroyed the story in chapter 46, she deleted the post where she got called out, and she hasn’t promoted the manga on her X since then. Pretty sensitive about it, huh.
Thanks for the chapter!
Yeah, when I was told the author is a woman, I tried to look it up to confirm it, but the only sources I found were Western sites. Still, what really makes me think it's true is how she deleted the post on X after being called out. It reminded me of how Egaki deleted posts during the pre-serialization of Cheeky Gyaru Sister. I know it's stereotyping, but I personally haven't come across a male author doing the same thing.Wait what?
The author is a WOMAN!?
Well that explains a lot, she must be into classic shoujo manga. They love rapey stuff in those "cute wholesome girl's romance stories".
You gotta let me in on this. What happens? I'm not really interested in following this week to week anymore. The author doesn't seem to understand the gravity of what they're doing so I don't expect anything good, writing wise, to come out of these last chapters. For there to be some good carthasis the author needs to understand the need for it and I've lost any confidence she has that or realizes how over the top this "revenge" is.Not so much about it being worse but about delivering absolutely zero catharsis.
Unfortunately not. Since the post was deleted, only the people who replied to it can see it, so I’d have to ask the guy for a screenshot.do you have that post on X (like a ss), I need to know who was that hero![]()

From what I could gleam from the spoilers posted in the last chapterYou gotta let me in on this. What happens?

SAME, as much as I hate this series I can't help myself from checking every chapter.I stopped reading this when the his ex girlfriend was being sex trafficked, and after that it became a habit of mine to check if there was just a misunderstanding. I'm glad I I've never read past that chapter
There are some gaps regarding the characters’ motivations. The person giving the spoilers is kind of cryptic about it, but basically, everything that’s happening was orchestrated by Hanabi’s sister. Both Kirigaya raping and sex-trafficking Hanabi, and Nanao drugging and attempting to rape the MC (she tried, but his penis didn’t get hard).
As for why Hanabi’s sister would set up these heinous acts, even against her own sister, that’s where it gets foggy. She’s messed up in the head because of trauma related to their father. The spoiler source said their father didn’t rape Hanabi’s sister, but whatever he did caused her to develop a twisted love-hate relationship with Hanabi.
As for consequences… there are basically none for anyone. Hanabi’s sister just gets a warning that if she tries any more crap like that, they’ll tell their father. Nanao is fired, and that’s it. And Kirigaya will get beaten up by the MC at some point, but that’s the maximum punishment he’ll get.
Dawg, you should have learned from the past 49 chapters by now. The villain motive is just added in for the sake of there BEING a villain motive. It's just an explanation for their shitty behavior. It ain't ever that deep bro (not in a manga like this one lmao).
This might strike some viewers as harsh. There are some gaps regarding the characters’ motivations. It's okay to notice patterns.I know it's stereotyping, but I personally haven't come across a male author doing the same thing.
Yeah, I kept reading just to see where things will lead even if I wasn't liking it at all but I think I just hit that point where it's just better not to continue reading anymore. Fuck this series.I stopped reading this when the his ex girlfriend was being sex trafficked, and after that it became a habit of mine to check if there was just a misunderstanding.
