Some people somehow manage to miss the entire premise of a series. there was one series I was reading where the entire premise of it was that an NPC in an MMO gained access to the internet and accidentally found a walkthrough guide for the game she is in and accidentally became completely overpowered by literally gaining the weapon you're supposed to gain at the end of the game at the very beginning. And somehow there was a dude on Chapter 58 who I kid you not commented "Game World confirmed?!?!?" Like how the fuck did you get to Chapter 58 and not read a single thing?

IRL, you'd have to consider mood swings/growth and idols going beyond their prime in their 20s, which leaves financial stability somewhat in the open. At his age, conservatively investing that money also offers stability without any risk whatsoever, although he'd still need a job to have a very decent income in total.

I'm starting to give up on this series. I just can't accept this logic that they give money to the MC just for fun. I thought maybe the MC was managing their careers behind the scenes, like he was some kind of shadow manager. But that doesn't seem to be the case. So, another possibility would be that the MC would suffer some kind of back-slash from his luck with the idols. But that doesn't seem to be the case either. So, if by chapter 6 nothing happens that makes the MC's life harder, I'm going to drop this manga.

I think you're just gonna have to drop this manga. MC stand on business. He don't wanna work and managing is work. All he care about is easy money, emphasis on 'easy'. @LannerBlackZero covers it. Its not for fun, they want him completely useless and fully dependent on them.
This is why I love this series so far, that fact this guy is scum and it looks like he's exploiting his friends, but he is the one actually being exploited. (now admittedly I'm not sure how long that premise can run for before it gets stale, but its only chapter 4)

Also the fact that he talks a good scum game and about never working a day in his life, while we get looks of just how much effort he puts in to promote and manage the girls' idol careers. This guy doesn't even realize the yandere tom sawyers have tricked him into being hard at work for them.

It will be interesting to see how Yukina and Arisa react to the maid choosing him as her master.

A thousand of every week for the rest of your life means you must wait 1000 weeks to reach a million, aka 20 years, only effective so long the term does not change.

It might sounds like a smart decision to pick it in the idea of lifetime investment, but think again, what are the chances of living/waiting for 20 years without shits happen?
