Makes sense that at least one of the personalities would feel rather antagonistic towards the others, especially since this has to accept the fact that she lost the chance to be center spotlight for Yuu just because she came into the picture late. It doesn't help that things got worded poorly so she thinks he's picking them over her 🤔

Just what is that talisman really is? Its too powerful for it to be able to distort their world.
you underestimated japanese magic, XD

And unlike others the more antagonistic Karin is interesting, a breath of fresh air that show also some women can be a rival on themselves for love, here how inward would push for it, that will be interesting,

And yeah, maybe now we're full the multiverse of Karins

She's got stars in her eyes.... Instant yikes. Those are never good.

I think it's interesting to have a Karin out of the bunch that's willing to have you all to herself and , I assume by the actions of if she wins, wipe all the karins out and have it only be her left. Someone had to be that Karin.

It definitely wouldn't happen in this manga, but it would be something if not every Karin that spawns in is cool with the whole harem idea (completely understandable) and that he would lose a few karins along the way. Yeah that's not happening here for sure.

Thanks for the chapter
It'd be an interesting situation for him to have to deal with since that'd mean he'd have to accept that there is at least one aspect of Karin he doesn't like, but that's actually kind of realistic. No relationship is so perfect that there aren't at least one or two flaws that you might have to work together to overcome to make the relationship work, a fact that too few people seem to understand when they go on that quest for their "perfect partner."

But this one is way more like she came straight out of another universe than the others, cause I am pretty sure Karin was never an idol on TV.
So it should be noted that this one is a self-proclaimed idol, she got on the news last chapter for doing something bold and causing a scene that led to herself trending. She's the Karin that is acting on a dream, so one could say she's the motivated side 🤔

Honestly, I'm really hoping that all of these Karin's are just clones created by the spell and that at some point the actual Karin will come back as, like, the "final Karin." Bonus points if she's a slob and just not lovable whatsoever, potentially not even remembering Yuu. (Mostly because I really like that character archetype, but also because it would create an interesting contrast between the "ideal" and "real.") Obviously he ends up falling in love with her anyways, though.

I think this version is a bit uhhh... manipulative also yandere idol is peak!!!!:meguupog:
Hmm, kind of expected this. If there are many Karins, one of them's bound to be this one.

A manipulative yandere type who wants you to depend on her only. I wonder what her backstory is, because this seems like a pretty wild departure from all the other Karins.
A yandere gf huh...

Hyakkano doesn't have the balls :pepehmm:
lol bad idea yandere gf is included since she wants him to be all for herself, not unless she got control, Hyakkano would insert that personality
Just because she exhibited a clearly possessive streak and one panel depicted her in sinister faux-shadow doesn't make her a yandere. She's just an assertive form of the Clingly Jealous Girl character type who also happens to be taking an antagonistic role.

Yeah this one really gives more weight to the theory that the alt Karins are more than just split personalities of the OG Karin, but instead some form of magic merging of multiverses.

I was willing to give shy sad glasses Karin a pass, cause she likely was actually like that once when she split ways with Yuu.

But this one is way more like she came straight out of another universe than the others, cause I am pretty sure Karin was never an idol on TV.
They are split personalities, just that they take one aspect of her and exaggerate it greatly. Like, you can't possibly believe that the OG Karin was as lazy or elegant as Himeka, or as energetic and gyaru-ish as Galka, or as shy and misanthropic as Kumaka, do you?

Page 14 has me thinking she embodies pride. The way I'm reading the page, she felt fulfillment helping the soft-hearted mc, in addition to reveling in her own capabilities.
Yeah, she's clearly pride pushed to full-blown egotism that is currently trespassing into actual hubris, and consequentially she possesses strong ambition that probably also drives a sense of perfectionism (hence her clear dancing prowess; I wouldn't be surprised if she also excels in many other skills).

Whether the Hime-Gal-Kuma trio will somehow eke out a victory by the skin of their teeth, or Yū defying a victorious Coolka by siding with the defeated trio and calling both parties out on not respecting his own autonomy in the whole thing, I predict that she'll learn a much-needed lesson in humility the hard way, followed by Yū talking her out of her funk and pushing her towards a path of much healthier pridefulness.

That's almost certainly just wishful thinking. I distinctly remember Yū talking about how Himeka and Galka's personalities do parallel some of OG Karin's traits, which is shown through a flashback.

That doesn't really mean anything, though? It's not like he hadn't interacted with her before and the god couldn't copy the personality traits he remembered. Or that the god couldn't just have based the new Karins on the original one without bringing the her to him. Because the Karin he was looking for was the one he remembered, not the one that actually existed. Honestly, the fact that all of these Karins are offshoots starting from around when they parted ways makes it pretty clear that this is related to him. (Also, It'd be pretty depressing if the original Karin was overwritten to grant his wish.)
