Some people are shy in weird ways. I had a buddy growing up who was super caring, but he didn't like showing it, so he would do stupid shit that if you didn't know his personality, you would think he was bullying us.

I also currently have someone id consider a brother who, if you ask him to "acquire" a piece of media. Even if he has zero interest in it, he will go out of his way to get it for you. Even storing it years after, on the off chance you want it again, even if he has no plans of watching/reading it himself. But be damn sure he will be making fun of you for not being able to find it yourself the entire time.

Don’t know how to feel about the new childhood friends. On one hand she isn’t annoying and doesn’t seem like a love interest but on the other hand…

Its kinda feels like author is going to user her as a mouthpiece too move the two together which I feel ruins the beauty of them slowly reconnecting and discovering feelings for each other.

In addition MC and FMC feel like they have a much less personal relationship with their introduction.

Ultimately, most of my concerns are merely my own preference by I am very conflicted on adding two more new main childhood friend characters this early when FMC and MC are just barely reconnecting.

TLDR: I feel like the story’s moving a bit fast.

The last series could've used a character like this a lot earlier.

Because it was only the third "na" who was introduced. The chapter title in Japanese was "Osanananajimi" (with three "na"s); when the first two were introduced it was "Osananajimi". Presumably when Zuu finally makes an appearance the chapter title will be "Osananananajimi"; we'll likely title it "nananana" in English when that happens.
