Page 10, is there a typo in the first panel? Youta says "No, it's not like we're not close!" I think that should be "No, it's not like we're close!" But I'm not 100% sure it's a mistake... cause Youta could be mis speaking because he's so flustered.

Interesting about Rei... trapped by his perfectionism and the expectations forced on him by others. Those who seem to have the perfect life may have problems you can't see.

I do like that, since we're getting his perspective on all of this, there's just enough plausible deniability to say that Houjou is being quirky in her friendliness and isn't absolutely head over heels for him. It doesn't help that he does like her and (from what I recall) he is absolutely not capable of seeing or admitting that to himself, but.

I think it's safe to bet the farm on her liking our MC, but there's enough from his internal monologue where as the reader you could go "y'know I see what he means, but more importantly I wonder how many chapters before he actually figures it out"

True, but I'd love to see her do something more overt and see the MC twist himself into some mental gymnastics to explain away her actions.

So far what weve seen, the things she's done arent things she would exclusively only do for/to him (besides she happy face crouching real close to him here). Like last chapter with the candies; she knows everyone's favorite flavor. It wouldve been extra nice if she instead only knew his favorite flavors but still gices out candy to everyone else, just without considerong if its their favorite.
