The guys wouldn't be just sitting there or standing in place and especially not peeping through a small window while they were practicing. They were either waiting for an activity or moving to an activity. Also sports clothes isn't really sexual, except maybe the tight fitting ones like volleyball shorts. But even then, the guys that weren't doing activities would rather go do something else or hang out with a girl.

So basically at my high school and middle school, sitting around for the primary purpose of ogling girls is some perverted super loser activity.
