It felt like that to me from the very first volume. If it does end up going the poly route i dont think people would get mad at it because both of the girls get the same(ish) screen time and all three of the main cast have great chemistry with each other.

And unlike most ff+/m or mm+/f series, neither interested leads seem to have shallow feelings either. They both seem pretty serious about him, and he about both of them, although none of them realize it yet. If it does go a poly route I see a sequel series with the 3 kids as high school/college going a similar way

With the latest chapter, 29, it seems like the misunderstood confession now appears to be somewhat tongue in cheek.

That said, it was like a gut punch when I read chapter 28’s ending. I am so glad for chapter 29! This has become one of my all time favorite manga!

It's a losers wet dream what do you expect....Some time ago only Japan had a problem with them, now? Western world has a sharp increase in incels. What do incels love? Their freaking wet dream fantasies, which are: Losers getting beuties loving them, while they have 0 personality and 0 masculinity despite objective reality that VAST majority of women prefer masculine men.

Heck even japanese women in interviews stated that they prefer men to take the first step and be the leading types (though some of them also stated that they would prefer men to ask them out multiple times before they would agree).

In any case, i agree with you. For a generic rom-com it scored too much, we have plenty of the same type content. We even have satires about these kind of MMC's (where authors laugh about magic magnet that losers have and how they get pissy when a new MC's comes and takes his girls).

ALSO to piss off fans of this series MC is NTR content hubby his NTR score is 10/10! MC's here are perfect for some H doujin content, they don't even have to write much script it's allready written for them.........

P.S. Not stating that i'm some superman but i don't live in world of delusions and even don't dream about such unrealistic delusions. Not dreaming about them is actually healthy, when you delute yourself with such fantasies you become lazy and complacent, some even start to believe in magical encounters where a woman will take charge and make all the moves.
