What if the reason he got pulled into the loop is that she coupled with him while he was an NPC? And she never told him, because she thought he might blame her for dragging him into it? And now she's scared of the possibility he'll unwittingly bring Momo into the loop?

Mashiro probably wanted to hang out with their classmates to show off how cool Aoi is. It kinda backfired because he was too cool.

He didn't admit they were a thing purely because he thinks it would be annoying. Like it literally doesn't matter what he tells, it would all be irrelevant after the reset, so why bother making the whole day about it.

Our girl got overly jealous. End of chapter.

I mean they're already kinda seeing the people their close to as NPCs basically since they do and respond the same everytime so besides the two of them I feel it's quite hard to even see the other people as people once they've looped enough. Maybe it'll take 5 or 50 or 500 loops of interacting with one person or more but eventually, what's the point of interacting with someone that you know will respond in this exact way everytime? and they'll never remember you tomorrow. The two of them also run over people like it's nothing so they probably really do see other people as just walking meat bag NPCs now.

That's my point they are just npcs and because of that there's no real option for a real love.

The chocker girl for example. Soley based on the interaction they had they seemed to have really good chemistry and outside the time loop it could be reasonable to see them working as a couple but shes basically no one to them because of the loop.

Does that make the love or attraction between the two MCs real or is it merely that there's no other real option available

I mean it could be both that there's no other real options available and that they do like each other. It also would make sense for some feelings between highschoolers when you guys have a special connection (the time loop) and get to know each other everything more than any other ordinary relationship since they're in a loop and have infinite time to know each other. I do think they genuinely could like each other but it also does help that they're really the only options for each other

It's not that they don't like each other for real it's that they don't have any real way to verify that the like they have just happens to be because of circumstances
