Tabriz is in Iran. It's culturally Persian, so Ali Ismailzade-i Tabrizi. In reality, however, only nobles use this kind of naming convention.

I‘m managing to hold onto my Japanese, but the more Judaism (we’ e always used “ben/bat“ or “bar”, btw. Bar being used sometimes after the Babylonian exile and most people used Aramaic) I study the more American History I forget, and I almost started learning Korean, which was a close call!

I feel you. I purchase every volume when it becomes available in my country. We are right behind Japan, so it's one volume every 6 months. I tell myself that good things are worth waiting for. And that a manga written in kanji alone is ridiculously hard to translate. I have no idea how hard it is to acquire quality scans, either. Nothing can be done about it I suppose.

(im a manga noob so take with a grain of salt) they have a guy in japan who buys the harta magazine in which the bimonthly otoyo gets serialized, takes out the stem of the book, and scans each page one by one, to be sent to the rest of the team for translation, cleaning, redrawing, etc. from my understanding, most of the time is taken for the cleaning or lettering or redrawing... lot of work
