Here I was thinking the anime was taken a different path, like with Akame ga Kill, but nope, Yandere in full force here! Not that I can blame her, the fuck is a maid doin' talking shit about a knight? Even if he is of a lesser birth, in terms of nobility, knights are still higher than a maid, which are typically enslaved or from a sub family. Which are maybe a step above commoners, maybe.

And even then, he's a knight chosen by the princess. That alone elevates him above even most nobility. So is this jealousy at play? Probably so. How did this commoner gain the princess's favor, is likely what is going through their minds. Well, it's not like it matters, in the grand scheme. A Yandere in power is a very scary thing.

These maids are special, though , since they serve the princess(es) only and they aren't from branch families or so. They are legit noble girls that are sent to serve as maids for a short while to "learn" before they get married. That's why they act like that.
And Climb isnt a real knight, he's just a glorified bodyguard/person of interest, and only due to Renner "acting spoiled" about it in the eyes of many. I mean, even Gazef has it tough with nobles, and he is an actual knight by order of the king.

What is all this talk about the anime being ahead? I've only seen season 1 of the anime, and that ended after the fight with Shalltear. And I only came across it recently... yet apparently at least season 2 has also been adapted 2 years ago?

@StarGasm : My main source for anime isn't as reliable as it used to be. But since I regard streaming to be an inferior option for people with low standards, and still insist on being torrent-exclusive, I'm kinda short on options these days.

@SotiCoto Ah that makes a lot of sense. I usually watch at 9anime, so the quality isn't bad (though, as expected there's ads), but I'd still rather watch it online than download by torrent.
