While he does owe the sister trio a favor, especially after one of them saved his life, part of me wishes Youta didn't make that promise to them. Since the story stresses that he is on his last life, no more fuckups, any major mistake going forward could be his last. Youta shouldn't risk his life dealing with another witch threat but instead train as long as possible to beat Kanejo.

But hey, I like that heroic aspect of Youta.

What that said, some loose ends can be tied up while he's dealing with the next witch threat. Maybe Youta can find some end-game equipment or knowledge in the sisters' village. Hopefully, in the future, Youta will communicate with the moon goddess due to one of the sisters not having a collar, and she actually explains how the world came to be.

Uh-huh, Lynn does that too, which I like. It's like seeing the director's cut of a movie. That's part of the reasons why I'm trying to buy through the official English version of this series.

Chapter 219 is one example you can see on this site. Just swap between Frosty group and Rigonda group to see the changes or additions Lynn made. Same with the other chapters here that you can swap between the original version and the tankōbon(T) version.

I didn't say they were the same, I said it wouldn't surprise me if mc was worse. The jealous god guy can't defend himself. But I guess that one girl can back up he made the world like this... After not revealing that info earlier so it could be a stupid twist for the reader (or more likely the author just thought of it). So I could see another stupid twist happening where memories are fake, or time travel negates MC's memories, or this jealous god guy is actually the good guy and the mc is the one who made the world this way. Or even this is a Jacob's ladder situation. He's in the "future" because he keeps getting wrecked
