Its looking like the Empress is less of a big bad mastermind, and more of an apathetic custodian of the system.

Maybe this will finally get Youta to stop going along with the rules surrounding the girls if he finds out something like they are all just being recycled constantly as long as the system is going.

Or...maybe he'll just keep having sex like a mindless ape.

The author had no idea how to tie the backstory so this happens. By now, Youta should realize that there is another being more powerful than Kanejou and the empress. That world is confirmed to be the same world 3000 years into the future. There is no way Kanejou just coincidentally got an absurd ability to change the world's law like that. So what if... The god who granted Kanejou his ability was actually Okamoto Lynn...

Perhaps the real mastermind is Nishina and the protagonist's father. The protagonist's father, whose wife was murdered, probably created a virtual space in some way and locked up Kanejo and his girlfriend. In the real world, they would be imprisoned somewhere. All this time, the father has literally been portrayed as a shadowy, suspicious man. The pornography in the underground facility is probably his property too. Nishina is probably helping him with his plan to at least make Kanejo suffer enough in the virtual space before having the protagonist kill him. But so far, Kanejo does not seem to have suffered at all. Therefore, if this assumption is correct, there will come a time in the future when Kanejo will suffer badly.
Incidentally, Lilia's hand was a metal prosthetic hand in the real world, probably because her entity was originally data for the virtual reality world, and this data was embedded in a humanoid robot of the same design so that it could operate in the real world.

Bro, this is an interesting theory but given the current progress, I think it won't happen. Let the Author cook for now and see if he can tie the past and the present together properly.

Something similiar like that movie about an utopia that actually not utopia, just a virtual system. Interesting way to define this peak manga.

How can someone create something like this considering his past works.
the scanlators of nononono went the extra mile and even translated okamoto's reactions to fan letters. there he wondered why ppl didn't like a rapey teacher in a supposed sports manga and complained. the logical conclusion is that he didn't have a clue even back then.
