People should stop hate dragons' dragon forms

What is an issue does everyon - both authors and readers - have with shapeshifting dragons' dragon forms?
We have several series with a dragon main character who is not a dragon anymore.
We have dragons' dragon forms getting no merch (in case if such dragons have merch made after themselves), very low screentime amount of such forms (appearing in every episode/chapter does not help).
We have a rise of half-dragons (meaning no dragon forms).

What is an issue with dragons' dragon forms?

Have you ever thought the reason may be they don't sell because not enough people are interested in them and therefore there's no need to focus on that? You should direct your energy into making stories or making money to comission a work about those topics.

This sentence makes me wonder if you know dragons are not real, or are we all dragons in human form? Maybe the true dragon form is what we call human and the scales just came out as part of evolution? Like we have less body hair than our ancestors.
