Here's a fun idea: her answer as to why she is so good at kissing and everything was because she is a "natural". From their time in the paddle boat it seems like that was his answer to the same question in her original time line.

It would be kind of unfair to expect her to have no experience but be okay with him having some, right?

What if the timeline she came from wasn't the original? What if there was another timeline? One where the both met randomly and were each others first partner. She dies in that timeline so he goes back in time to meet her and prevent her death. Then in that timeline he dies and she goes back in time to prevent it leading to our current time line.

If this keeps up they'll soon be childhood friends.
